The Ground Station is a generalized open frame architecture designed by Data Patterns to support the space segment & relay mission data to the users.
It has independent uplink and downlink communication channels for command and data functions. The generic design makes the control of parameters like frequency, modulation scheme, data rate and others simple. Common communication standards like HDLC, AX.25 and CCSDS are readily supported by the ground station system.
The features and the flexibility of the design gives a complete and straight forward solution to communicate and control the satellites in orbit.
