| Product Description | DP-DSP-8022, the Smart Display Unit is flight-worthy standalone, AMLCD based 4 X 5 ATI Colour display with 640 X 480 pixel resolution. It is built with high performance processor and graphics controller and has numerous discrete I/O, RS422 and ARINC429 interfaces. The display has a high efficiency anti-reflection coating on front surface, which reduces specular and diffuse reflectance. This display supports high brightness and NVG compatibility as option. It supports automatic brightness control using ambient light sensor and manual control through bezel switches. Display system software is DO-178B compliance. In-built heater improves performance of the display when temperature falls below 0°C. The NVG compatible bezel module has illuminated push buttons and ambient light sensor. This is a light weight compact unit made of special aluminum alloy. The unit has been designed for power on self test and initiated test. It also performs continuous built in tests and performs fault logging for maintenance. All these tests ensure reliable performance of the system even when the system has to withstand harsh environments during critical missions. |
