The Data Patterns S-Band Transmitter is a flight qualified module in PC104 form factor specifically designed for a high data rate down link requirements of Cube, Nano and Microsat missions.
The radio is designed to operate from 2.2GHz to 2.5GHz in the S-Band frequency spectrum. The transmitter o/p power is 1W (over operating temperature range). This module support BPSK, QPSK & OQPSK modulations and supports CCSDS packet protocol mode.
Note: 1. Option available in UHF band 420-450Mhz, contact factory for detailed specifications.
2. X-Band high throughput payload data transmitter is under development.
● Programmable carrier frequency from 2.2GHz to 2.5GHz.
● Supports data rates from 38.4kbps to 2Mbps.
● Supports BPSK / QPSK / OQPSK modulations.
● Framing as per CCSDS / IBS protocol.
● Configurable Field Equipment Controller (FEC) with 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 3/4 and 7/8 modes.
● Low power consumption of <6W (for peak RF output power).
● Programmable transmit power from 24dBm to 30dBm in 0.5dB steps.
● ESD protection on antenna terminals.
● PC104 form factor compliant.
