The DP-cPCI-8109 is a 64 bit cPCI redundant bridge module. The bridge is mounted on the rear of the backplane enabling maximum number of slots to be available.
For dual host application, provision is made for both a primary host and a secondary host.
The module adheres to the electrical specifications in PICMG 2.0 R3.0 Compact PCI and the maximum power consumption of this bridge module is 20W. All circuitry on the bridge module derives its power from the primary or secondary cPCI bus.
