The DP-cPCI-7554 is Frequency Response Analyser module capable of analyzing the phase and gain characteristics of an Electro Mechanical or Electro Hydraulic System. It is widely used in weapon guidance system characterizations and filter response analysis. It features one waveform generator and two analyzers both with 16 bit resolution.

The module features waveform generation of sine, step, ramp and programming an arbitrary wave form. It provides frequency generation from 1mHz to 2KHz and sweeping step size from 1mHz to 500Hz.

An on-board 32-bit floating point SHARC DSP in the analyzer section correlates the acquired response signal and the stimulus signal to calculate the phase and gain characteristics of the system under test.

The module has built-in short circuit protection and features isolated generator and analyzer circuits. It provides complete isolation for the generated output from the system.

The module can be programmed for number of cycles per frequency and also for Linear and logarithmic step change. Gain Vs Frequency and Phase Vs Frequency measurements can be made. The software supports online graphs with range selection, zooming and textual reports for raw data and analyzed data.

The field interface is provided on a 9 pin D–Type connector on the front I/O panel of the module.

The module is supplied with device drivers in Windows 2000 and RT Linux.
