The DP-cPCI-5499 is 3U RF modem is unique product offering communication interfaces to external radio sets operating in RF range. This board is widely used in a communication arena exchanging both voice and data across large network.
This board uses 40MHz, 32 bit floating DSP for data processing that can be controlled either from a external memory or host computer by simply selecting a jumper onboard. FPGA is used for hardware resource management.
This hardware extends its interfaces through two serial ports and two analog ports for external communication. The two serial asynchronous ports is interfaced to backplane and the other to the front panel offering data rates up to 115Kbps for the application. On board diagnostics can be done by looping the two ports.
The analog port is processed by a full duplex 16 bit CODEC offering the dynamic range of 90dB with variable sampling rates of 7040Hz to 48KHz. the processed serial data can be either stored or transmitted to the radio set as voice.
This board is offered with WINDOWS and RT Linux Drivers.
