The DP-cPCI-5121 is a cPCI based hot swappable Quad IP Carrier Module. It is widely used in automatic test equipments, rugged military systems and simulators. The 6U DP-cPCI-5121 accommodates four Industry standard IP modules.
The carrier board is provided with 200 rear I/O points with high density rear connectors. The carrier board supports four single size or two double size IP modules. The eight IP interrupts from the four IP modules are mapped to the two local bus interrupts. IP memory space accesses are supported with upto 8Mbytes of memory for each IP module.
The IP modules are powered up via passive filters by filtered +5V, +12V and -12V DC power supplies. The filtered power supply provides optimum filtering and isolation between IP modules and the carrier board. This allows analog signals to be accurately measured on IP modules without signal degradation.
The multi-functionality on single cPCI slot can be obtained using this carrier module by accommodating IP modules available for ADC, DAC, TTL/Discrete I/O, MIL-STD-1553B, ARINC429, RS422/RS485 and other custom functionalities.
The module is supplied with device drivers in Windows 2000 and RT Linux. Optionally, software drivers are available on operating systems such as VxWorks, QNX, and Lynx.
