The DP-cPCI-3096 is a cPCI based hot swappable 96 Channel Isolated Digital Input/Interrupt Output module. It is widely used in high density automatic test equipments, check out and DAQ systems. It features 48 individual digital input and open collector output channels with isolation of 500V input to system each.
The 48 input channels are jumper selectable in the range of 5V, 12V, 24V or 48V and they are software programmable as "Low True" or "High True".
The current data on the input channel is continuously compared with the previous data by the state change input block to indicate change in input status via an interrupt. The hand shake input mode is available for intersystem communication for each group of 16 channels.
The 48 open collector output channels with 200mA sink current are grouped into three groups of 16 channels and provided with relay coil fly back protection. The outputs are isolated from the backplane upto 500Vrms and other groups upto 150VDC.
The built in self test for this module can be carried out even when the external field wiring is in place at real time.
The module is supplied with device drivers in Windows 2000 and RT Linux.
