The DP-VXI-4017 is a VXI based 80 Channel Relay Multiplexer constructed using ‘2 Form A’ (DPST) relays with channel-to-channel isolation of 220V. It is widely used in Automatic Test Equipments, Analog Signal Routing and Data Acquisition systems. It features 80 differential channels having switching capability of current, voltage and resistance measurement.
DP-VXI-4017 can be used to multiplex one input channel to any of the 80 outputs or vice versa. The 80 channel multiplexer has an option of grouping channels into banks as per the requirement. The tree switch is provided to isolate the banks from each other. All the common terminals are provided with resistors for short circuit protection.
The readback facility is available to confirm selected commands written by user on the primary latch. This data is transferred to secondary latch on command. The on board relay drive section with buffers activates the relays.
Software trigger, facia trigger or timer trigger can activate the relays. The RAM Enabled Mode and RAM Disabled Mode selects route to provide clock signals and data for relay channels either from RAM or from direct address and direct data bus.
The module provides break before make option to switch OFF all the relays before the next relay is switched ON. Signal routing of low-level signals of the order of microvolts can be reliably switched.
The module is available with device drivers for Windows, LabView, HPVee and other standard platforms.
