The DP-VXI-3117 is a 128 channel isolated Digital Inputs / Interrupt module. It is widely used in very high reliability digital inputs, status monitoring, handshake data transfer; interrupt based asynchronous response and automated testing applications. It is widely used for military, atomic energy and launch system applications.
The module provides 128 isolated digital input channels for sensing DC levels and edge transitions of up to 48VDC. All inputs are optically isolated to withstand up to 500VDC. Isolated power supply (5V @ 150mA) is required for handshake.
Each input can be selected for 5V (TTL/COMS compatible), 12V, 24V and 48V by on-board jumper settings. A programmable debounce circuit is provided on each input channel group to enable a unique debounce time for a period of 2µ sec to 2147 sec. The time programmable debounce on each input channel ensures that false transients are not recognized.
The module features programmable interrupt (maskable, edge selectable) and can be optionally configured to provide for three modes of interrupt generation logic, namely state change interrupt, input interrupt and Strobe_In interrupt.
The module features programmable low true or high true logic for each input and hand shake channel.
The inputs and external handshake controls are terminated on 64-pin ‘B’ size Euro connector. The external power supply and interrupts are terminated on two 14 pin 2mm connectors.
This module is a register based VXI component which supports VXI plug and play frame works. It is supplied with device drivers in Windows, Labview and other standard platforms.
