The DP-PMC-5535 is an Intelligent 3 Node 1553B BC/RT/MT PMC Module. It is widely used in MIL-STD-1553 communications, Avionics Simulators, Automatic Test Equipments and Data Acquisition Systems. It is PCI version 2.2 compliant 32 bit/33MHz Conduction Cooled PMC card.
DP-PMC-5532 has three synchronized channels of DDC’s PCI ACE interface with 64K x 17 RAM. It can be programmed as BC, RT or MT and synchronized through software or external hardware interface.
The module has a Blackfin DSP with an inbuilt SDRAM controller and operating frequency of 300MHz with 32 bit bus width for local control and it is used to enable sequential emulation of BC, RT, MT and RT address sequencing.
The in built SDRAM is used to store temporary data and the data is transferred directly to PCI memory in DMA mode. A 16MB flash disk is interfaced with processor as a boot up memory.
DP-PMC-5532 also provides 2 RS 422 I/O Channels and ARINC 429 with two transmitters and four receivers. The module can be used in cPCI and VME based systems using suitable carrier board.
The module is supplied with device drivers in Windows 2000 and RT Linux.
