The DP-PMC-5346 is a 2 channel PMC Frame Sync & IRIG B Reader Module. It is widely used in Data Acquisition systems, telemetry systems and simulation systems for ground station applications. The Multi-function PCM decommutator module offers greater flexibility in the industry by incorporating various function required for flight test applications.
The module features Frame Synchronizer which accepts serial NRZ-L data inputs with clock at a maximum baud rate of 2Mbps. The incoming sync word patterns can be 4 to 64 bits long with word length varying from 4 to 32 bits each.
The module also features programmable sync word and length, programmable bit position and word position for SFID and Programmable search parameters.
The built-in simulator generates PCM serial NRZ-L TTL outputs. The module features built-in self test.
An optional IRIG-B reader enables time stamping and to start and stop the data acquisition.
The Module is implemented as a PMC module, featuring front panel and rear I/O capabilities. This facilitates application in compact PCI, VME and PCI based computers. It occupies a single PMC slot on any standard PMC carrier.
The module is supplied with device drivers in Windows 2000 and HA Linux.
