The DP-PCI-557 is a MIL-STD-1553 PCI interface module. This module has two independent dual redundant MIL-STD-1553B BC/RT/MT data bus.
The module features 64Kx16 shared RAM per channel with programmable BC gap times and BC frame auto-repeat. Additional features include a wrap around built in test, register programmable interrupt level, software programmable RT address selection and a ‘C’ software subroutine library.
The interface from the DP-PCI-557 to a 1553 bus is either through a transformer(long stub) or direct(short stub) coupling. Jumpers allow for either transformer or direct coupling to be selected.
This module is an excellent choice for real-time simulation, ATE and system integration applications and is supplied complete with device drivers in Windows 2000 and RT Linux.
