The DP-CPCI-5403 is a half size PCI card allowing user to mount PMC module on it. With Electrical and logical layers being same as PCI bus, this board extends the modularity by offering PMC modules to be used in standard PCI slots. These are used to build modular, flexible and cost effective I/O solutions.
This board is designed for 32 bit, 33 MHz operation. The PCI bus is interconnected to PMC via bridge. The board operates at both 5V & 3.3Volts. The required voltages are converted from 5V to 3.3V level. Local regulator and filters are used ensuring clean source.
The Front I/O of PMC is brought to the PCI front panel mounting bracket. The I/O is terminated to standard SCSI connectors. The 5V & ± 12V required for PMC is directly fed through PCI connector.
This board conforms to PICMG 2.1 specification.
