The DP-IP-4221 is an 8 channel RS422/485 serial communication IP module. It supports 6 channels of RS422 or 8 channels RS485. The module supports 128 byte Transmit/Receive buffers per channel and has 15KV ESD static protection.
The module is built as per ANSI VITA 4 standard and is suitable for use in any hardware platform such as cPCI, VME, VXI, PCI and ISA.
The module is supplied with device drivers in Windows 2000 and RT Linux.
